Letter to SBF Reply from SBF
The Northern Ireland Young Solicitors' Association was set up in 1984 by Harry Coll, the then President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland. He felt that a formal grouping of young solicitors could help bridge the generation gap with the Law Society.
Every solicitor aged 36 or under is automatically a member of the NIYSA.
The NIYSA hosts a wide range of social events for it members to attend. It also endeavors to facilitate the interaction between young lawyers in Northern Ireland and those in other jurisdictions, throughout Europe in particular, and to provide education principally through its lecture series.
